Our batching yard is at 6 Boron Street, minutes from most Narangba job sites. That short run is the whole point: concrete and cement delivery in Narangba arrives at the workable end of its life, not the tail of it, and if a slab runs long we can top you up from the depot rather than reschedule you to tomorrow. Thirty years of mini mix concrete in Narangba means we already know which estate streets take a full-size agitator and which need the small truck. Builders, concreters and weekend slab-pourers all order off the same phone number.

Narangba has been building steadily for two decades, and the work splits cleanly in two. On the estate side (the newer streets off Boundary Road and around the Narangba Valley pockets) it's shed slabs, second driveways, patio extensions and pool surrounds squeezed onto blocks where the house already fills most of the footprint. On the western acreage side it's larger pours with long, unsealed approaches. Both need concrete and cement delivery in Narangba that turns up in the right truck for the access, at the hour that suits the crew screeding it.

Because we batch here rather than trucking in from Brisbane, small loads stay economical and start times stay early. We've been supplying concrete delivery across Moreton Bay for over 30 years, and Narangba is the suburb we know street by street.

What Pouring Concrete In Narangba Actually Involves

Narangba sits in the City of Moreton Bay between the Bruce Highway and the North Coast rail line, and it's effectively two suburbs for concreting purposes. East of the line, the residential estates have gone up largely since the late 1990s on subdivided blocks with narrow verges and short, steep crossovers. West of it, the older acreage holdings run to several thousand square metres with unsealed driveways. A third zone (the Narangba industrial estate, one of the larger employment precincts in the region) sits in between, and it's where our depot is.

Each of those creates a different delivery problem. On estate blocks, the constraint is almost always turning circle and overhead clearance: a full agitator that can't get past the carport means the concrete has to be barrowed, which changes how much you can place before it goes off. On acreage, the constraint is the approach: the sandy and clay-loam soils west of Narangba hold water, and a track that carried a ute on Friday won't necessarily carry a loaded truck on Monday. In the industrial estate, the constraint is time: the slab usually has to be poured and cured around a business that's still operating.

South-east Queensland's summer adds the other pressure. Between November and March, an afternoon pour can be difficult to finish before the surface sets faster than the crew can work it, and a storm front can undo a fresh slab entirely. That's why our concrete and cement delivery in Narangba starts at 6:00am on weekdays, because most experienced local concreters want the load on site early in the day.

So we plan the delivery backwards from those conditions: access checked before the booking, truck size assigned to the approach rather than just the volume, and a start time chosen so the concrete and cement delivery in Narangba lands when your crew can actually place it.

Common local challenges

Tight turning space and overhead clearance on estate blocks

Why it happens

East of the rail line, the residential estates have gone up largely since the late 1990s on subdivided blocks with narrow verges and short, steep crossovers.

Why it matters

A full agitator that can't get past the carport means the concrete has to be barrowed, which changes how much you can place before it goes off.

How we help

Access is checked before the booking, and the truck size is assigned to the approach rather than just the volume.

Soft, unsealed approaches on acreage

Why it happens

West of the rail line, the older acreage holdings run to several thousand square metres with unsealed driveways, and the sandy and clay-loam soils hold water.

Why it matters

A track that carried a ute on Friday won't necessarily carry a loaded truck on Monday.

How we help

We assess the track before the day, choose the truck that can make the return trip, and stage larger volumes across loads.

Pouring around a working business in the industrial estate

Why it happens

The Narangba industrial estate, one of the larger employment precincts in the region, sits between the two residential zones, and its slabs usually have to be poured and cured around a business that is still operating.

Why it matters

Time is the constraint: the work has to fit around trading hours.

How we help

We schedule around trading hours and staged pours so a working site isn't shut down for a day.

Summer heat shortens the working window

Why it happens

Between November and March, an afternoon pour can be difficult to finish before the surface sets faster than the crew can work it.

Why it matters

A storm front can undo a fresh slab entirely.

How we help

Weekday deliveries start at 6:00am, because most experienced local concreters want the load on site early in the day.

Why Narangba Customers Order From Northside Mini-Mix

Most concrete suppliers quoting Narangba work are dispatching from Brisbane or Caboolture. We're dispatching from inside the suburb. For concrete and cement delivery in Narangba that means a materially shorter haul, which shows up in three practical ways: earlier first pours, tighter arrival windows, and the ability to run a genuine short load without the travel cost swallowing the job.

It also means we've seen how Narangba builds. We know the new-estate driveways where a loaded truck can't turn without clipping a kerb, the acreage tracks that soften after a wet week, and the industrial slabs on Boron and Potassium Streets where the pour has to fit around a working business. Thirty years of concrete and cement delivery in Narangba has been spent learning those constraints, and it's why site access is the first thing we ask about, not the last.

  • Over 30 years supplying Moreton Bay. The same family operation, not a national batching network with a local phone number.
  • Depot inside the suburb at 6 Boron Street, so Narangba jobs get the shortest travel time we offer anywhere.
  • Truck sizes matched to access, from tight estate side-driveways through to full loads for commercial and acreage pours.
  • Short pours and split loads accepted. A single shed slab or a footing run is a real order here, not an inconvenience.
  • 6:00am weekday starts so slabs can be finished before the afternoon heat, plus Saturday mornings.

Concrete Services We Deliver Across Narangba

Every order still runs through the same concrete and cement delivery in Narangba service: what changes is the mix, the truck and the timing. These are the jobs we batch for most often.

Mini mix concrete for small pours

For jobs measured in part-loads rather than full ones: a shed pad, a set of post footings, a path down the side of the house.

Our mini mix concrete service means you order what the job actually needs, so DIY owners and small crews aren't paying for a full truck to pour four square metres.

Mini mix concrete

House and shed slabs

Narangba's newer estates generate a steady run of shed and garage slabs on blocks where the driveway is the only approach.

We match truck size to that access and stage the pour so the crew can screed continuously rather than waiting between loads. Suited to owner-builders, shed installers and residential concreters.

Driveways, patios and pool surrounds

Replacement driveways and outdoor living slabs on established Narangba blocks, where the pour has to work around fences, services and a house that's already lived in.

We deliver in the window that suits your finisher, including early starts, so the surface is worked before the sun gets onto it.

Exposed aggregate and decorative mixes

For alfresco areas, entertaining slabs and front entries where the concrete is the finished surface.

See our exposed aggregate and decorative concrete mixes for the available finishes, then talk to us about matching an existing pour on the same property.

Exposed aggregate

Commercial and industrial slabs

Warehouse floors, hardstand and car park pours across the Narangba industrial estate, much of it within a few streets of our yard.

We schedule around trading hours and staged pours so a working site isn't shut down for a day. Best suited to commercial builders and facility owners on Boron, Potassium and Argon Streets.

Acreage, rural and tight-access delivery

West of the railway line, blocks get bigger and approaches get longer and softer.

We assess the track before the day, choose the truck that can make the return trip, and stage larger volumes across loads. Ideal for rural sheds, water tank pads, machinery bays and long farm entries.

Areas We Serve

Narangba is the centre of our run, and the depot's position means concrete and cement delivery in Narangba shares a truck route with the suburbs immediately around it. Nearby suburbs on the same delivery run include Dakabin and Morayfield.

FAQs

How much notice do you need for a Narangba pour?

For a standard residential slab, a day or two lets us lock in your preferred start time, and because concrete and cement delivery in Narangba is our shortest run, we can often fit same-day or next-morning loads when the schedule allows. Larger commercial pours and anything needing multiple staged loads should be booked further ahead. Call 07 3888 2468 and we'll tell you honestly what's available that week rather than taking a booking we can't hold.

Can you get a truck down a narrow estate driveway?

Usually, yes. That's why we run several truck sizes rather than one. Before we book, we'll ask about driveway width, the turning space at the top, overhead wires, and whether the chute can reach the pour or you'll be barrowing. On very tight Narangba blocks we'll recommend the smaller truck and, if needed, split the delivery so you're never holding concrete you can't place in time.

Do you deliver small loads, or is there a minimum?

Small loads are a core part of what we do: our mini mix trucks exist for footings, shed pads and paths that don't justify a full agitator. Because we batch in Narangba, short pours here don't carry the travel cost they would from a Brisbane plant.

Why do you start at 6:00am?

Because in a Queensland summer the slab decides the schedule. Concrete stiffens faster in heat and wind, so most Narangba concreters want the first load on site early, giving them the cool hours to place, screed and finish before the surface gets away from them. Our weekday deliveries run from 6:00am to 3:00pm, with Saturday mornings from 6:00am to 10:00am. We are closed on Sundays.

What do I need to have ready before the truck arrives?

Formwork set and braced, reinforcement placed and chaired, a membrane down if the slab needs one, and a clear, firm path for the truck with enough room to set up the chute. Have enough people on site to place the load. Once it's discharged, the clock is running. If you're unsure, our DIY guide covers the preparation homeowners most often miss.

Do I need council approval for a slab in Narangba?

It depends on what you're pouring. Shed slabs, patios and structural work generally need building approval through the City of Moreton Bay, and a new or widened driveway crossover needs council consent because it crosses the verge. Paths and small pads on your own land are often exempt. Check with the City of Moreton Bay before you book the concrete. Approval is your responsibility, and we can't advise on your specific application.

About Narangba & Our Local Depot

Narangba's name comes from the local Indigenous language, and European settlement began around timber-getting and small farming before the North Coast railway line arrived in the late nineteenth century and gave the district its shape. For most of the twentieth century it stayed agricultural: poultry, small crops and grazing on large holdings. That changed from the 1980s onward, when the state government established the Narangba industrial estate and residential subdivision followed on the eastern side of the line. Today it is one of the City of Moreton Bay's larger mixed residential and industrial suburbs, which is precisely why a concrete plant sits here: the estate supplies the work, and the highway supplies the access.
